Yellow Ribbon Program Basics

Under the Post 9/11 GI Bill®, Jacksonville University participates as a 100% match Yellow Ribbon school for an unlimited number of students. The matching Yellow Ribbon Program is designed to cover the gap between the GI Bill benefit and the cost of tuition at the school. This benefit applies to 100% eligible veterans, spouses of veterans and dependents. The Department of Veterans Affairs makes the determination of eligibility based on length of service and honorable discharge. Learn more about Yellow Ribbon Program eligibility.

For undergraduates, the Yellow Ribbon is a 100% match, where the tuition is fully covered for the full year. For graduate students, the Yellow Ribbon is capped at a $2,600 match, essentially covering the full tuition for a full year. The School of Orthodontics is excluded.

Ensure you submit your 100% Certificate of Eligibility and DD 214, if applicable, to the Jacksonville University Veterans Office on the first floor of the Howard Building next to Admissions, or by email to veterans@365dafa6.com.
